  • Sixth Form

    Students at The King’s engage are actively encouraged and supported to engage with NCS as a means to enhance their personal development.

    As a four-phase programme, NCE plays a fundamental role in developing our students’ awareness of financial literacy by providing endless opportunities to engage in a whole host of new experiences. These principles along with the prospects they afford, are detailed below:

    • Adventure: Five days away from home, taking on adrenaline-fuelled activities like rock-climbing, canoeing and archery;

    • Discovery: A week living independently, learning essential life skills from local business leaders and charities; gaining confidence in public speaking, communication skills and budgeting;

    • Social Action: Making their mark.  Year 12s devise a community project based on a local issue they feel passionate about and

    • Celebration: Taking stock of achievements. Young people celebrate triumphs with fellow NCSers at one great event.  This is just the beginning!
